Van Meurs & Stufkens was a Dutch publishing house based in Rotterdam that was active in the late nineteenth century and issued, among other works, the anonymous pamphlet Beschouwingen over Atjeh en onzen oorlog met dat rijk — Reflections on Aceh and our war with that kingdom — by Een Ooggetuige in the 1880s. The house is one of several Rotterdam publishers whose output included Dutch colonial pamphlet literature on the Atjeh War.
Publishing activity
Van Meurs & Stufkens issued the Beschouwingen over Atjeh en onzen oorlog met dat rijk with a folded map — the *Kaart van het Oorlogstooneel, de Vaarwaters en vereischte Kustlichten voor den Wereldhandel* — in Rotterdam in the 1880s. The colophon of the surviving copy records the place of publication as Rotterdam and the publisher as Van Meurs & Stufkens.
