St. Claverbond was a Catholic mission magazine published by the Dutch Jesuits from 1889 to at least 1938 (and beyond). It was the official organ of the St. Claverbond mission association, named after St. Peter Claver, the patron of the negro missions. The magazine began as “Berichten uit Nederlandsch Oost-Indië ten dienste der Eerwaarde Directeuren van den St. Claverbond” and later adopted the shorter title “St. Claverbond”. It was published in Nijmegen by the Stichting St. Claverbond. The register indicates that by 1938, the magazine had a circulation of over 17,000 copies.
