Jacob van Campen was the Amsterdam drukkerij (printing house) and publisher that in 1914 issued the booklet Reisindrukken van Atjeh by the retired naval lieutenant W. Moens — Reisindrukken van Atjeh, door W. Moens (Amsterdam, Jacob van Campen, 1914). The feuilleton had originally appeared in the Algemeen Handelsblad and was reprinted in brochure form at the request of several readers of that newspaper, with the intention, as the uitgeefster (publisher, feminine) wrote in the foreword, of making a truth that must gladden understood in wider circles: Er is vrede op Atjeh, de Atjeh-oorlog is voorbij. Er heerscht rechtszekerheid en welvaart en orde — There is peace in Atjeh, the Atjeh war is over. There reign legal security and prosperity and order. A copy of the publication reached the university library of Groningen, in whose collection it was preserved.
