In Hikayat Meudeuhaa (XXXIII): ‘Meudeuha’ grows up under the protection of his father Buka Sa’ti, a wise and wealthy man, whose village lies not far from Watu, the residence of the king Wadihirah.’ All the action of this romance of justice and wisdom centres on Watu as the royal seat.
