The Wachthuis aan de Lingkar (Lingkar watchhouse; the blokhuis near the Kali Lengkar or Lingkar river) was one of the watch-posts of the Dutch concentrated line around Kota Radja as completed on 1 March 1885, included in the official post list handed down by the Koloniaal Verslag. On 25 August 1885 the blockhouse near the Kali Lengkar was fired upon by the Atjehnese, who wounded three of the Dutch (see Guerilla raids inside the concentration line (1885)).
