Trieng Gadeng is a landschap in the onderafdeeling Meureudoe of the afdeeling Pidië, mentioned by Broersma for the example set there by the wife of the oeléebalang, who went to work the sawah herself and so encouraged the other women. ‘In het landschap Trieng Gadeng gaf de vrouw van den oeléebalang het voorbeeld en ging sawah bewerken.‘
