In the Hikayat Eseukanda Ali: ‘Disguised as a man she (Ra’na Jamin) finally finds a resting- place in the kingdom of Tahtanun, whose king Ahmat was at that very time seeking a husband for his daughter Keumala Hayati.’ Ra’na Jamin wins the horse-race and weds the princess, then becomes king of Tahtanun. All the characters eventually return to Keureutoe.
