Seuneu’am was the bottomless marshes near Meulaboh which, with Tripa, sheltered T. Radja Tampo’ — the one irreconcilable never found during H. N. A. Swart’s governorship.
At Swart’s retirement in 1918 “only one unfindable man had remained unfound: T. Radja Tampo’ in the bottomless swamps of Seuneu’am and Tripa (Meulaboh), an irreconcilable who even in 1939 still wandered as a legendary figure, holy in the eyes of the population.”
