A small island near Tamiang on the East Coast. Sadati dialogue: ‘I shall place thee on the island of Sampoe (near Teumieng, vulg. Tamiang). We can now no longer live on the island by Sampoe; it has been taken by the infidel, the King of Holland.’
Already described above. Referenced in the sadati dialogue as a place now taken by the Dutch.
