In the Hikayat Malem Diwa, this is described as the domain of Raja Angkasa, and the location of the princess Meureundam Diwi: ‘Putroe Meureundain Diwi in Lho’ Sinibong on the river of Jambo Aye.’ The hero Malem Diwa descends from the sky, traverses various places on the East Coast of Acheh, and finally arrives at Lho’ Sinibong ‘the domain of Raja Angkasa. The whole kingdom has been laid waste and its inhabitants devoured by the geureuda (griffin); the beautiful princess Meureundam Diwi alone, hidden in a beam of timber by her unhappy father, awaited the coming of her deliverer.’ Also mentioned in the sadati kisah: ‘At Chot Sinibong on the shore of Peulari, there is the gampong of the mother of Meureundam Diwi.‘
