Glé Raja was a mountain bounding the valley of the Atjeh-rivier in Groot-Atjeh, paired by G. B. Hooijer with the Goudberg in his account of the thunderstorms and drainage of the XXII Moekims.
In Hooijer’s description
Hooijer wrote that when the thunder echoed from the Goudberg to the Glé Raja and tropical rains fell on the motionless trees, the surplus water of the middle valley — gradually raised by the sediment of earlier floods — drained towards the foot of the hills and mountains and thence by creeks and streams to the lower course of the river or to the sea coast. The passage forms part of his contrast between the drier, healthier XXII Moekims and the malarial marshes of the XXVI Moekims.
