An ancient gampong not far from The Dalam, where the tomb of Poteu Jeumaloy is situated. ‘The Arab rival of the first kings of the present dynasty’ is buried here. He had been the lawful and recognized sovereign of Acheh, and his tomb is universally revered as a saint by the Achehnese. Teungku Shah Manso (Mansur) is another saint buried in Gampong Jawa, and Tuan di Dapat in the same area.
