W. Pordon was a Dutch Infantry Captain who commanded the 4th company of the 3e Bataljon Infanterie during the First Aceh Expedition.
Combat Role
He played a prominent role in the First Conquest of the Great Missigit on 10 April 1873 and subsequently led his company in the central assault column during the Second Conquest of the Great Missigit on 14 April 1873.
