The first of the four female sovereigns of Acheh, reigning 1639 (or 1641)-1675, famed for her piety, her name still extolled in royal edicts. During her reign the celebrated saint Abdurra’uf (Teungku di Kuala) settled in Banda Acheh and wrote a book at her request, dedicating it to her in extravagant terms.
