Luitenant Colenbrander was a Dutch lieutenant of the garrison of the concentrated line at Atjeh in 1885. In majoor Perelaer’s list of incidents inside the line he appears in the night of 24–25 March 1885, when at the clearing of the ground (terrein openkappen) the workers and their cover were fired upon and three men were wounded, among them luitenant Colenbrander (see Guerilla raids inside the concentration line (1885)).
