J. Cohen Stuart

J. Cohen Stuart was a kapitein ter zee and former minister van marine who authored the work De Zeemacht in Nederlandsch‑Indië 1874‑1888 (published by Baee Dirks). Although his treatise contains little on the Korps Mariniers in Atjeh, it provides a detailed account of the Indische vloot (Indies fleet) and its operations in the region.
