J. Lauer was a Captain commanding the 3rd company of the 3e Bataljon Infanterie.
Service
He led his forces on the right wing during the Second Conquest of the Great Missigit on 14 April 1873, advancing on the southern walls of Atjeh’s Groote Missigit.
