Hoynck van Papendrecht (active) was a Painter mentioned in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in connection with Aceh. Painter of the famous painting of Van Heutsz and his staff (including several well-known figures) at the Battle of Batèë Ilië, observing the battle from the Batèë Ilië hill. He is to be distinguished from Kapitein Hoynck van Papendrecht, the post commander killed at Lampagar in 1876.
