Van der Bunt, H. J. was a Dutch marine corporal who was knighted in the fourth class of the Militaire Willemsorde for his service in the Atjeh expeditions of 1873 and 1874, as recorded in the royal decree of 6 October 1874.
Honors
His decoration placed him among the distinguished marine personnel recognized for bravery in Aceh.
