Corporal A. Hosdorft was a member of the Dutch Marine Corps who, together with Marine N. Vinchent, was decorated with the Military William Order 4th class by King Willem I for his conduct during the Padri campaign of 1824.

Decoration

The award was announced after the expedition, but both Hosdorft and Vinchent succumbed to their wounds before the decorations could reach them in the Dutch East Indies.
