Ala-ad-Din Mahmoedsjah (died early 1874 (shortly after 31 January 1874)) was a Sultan of Atjeh mentioned in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in connection with Aceh. Sultan of Atjeh at the time of the Dutch assault on the Kraton.

Sultan of Atjeh at the time of the Dutch assault on the Kraton. The Dutch government considered itself to have stepped into his place upon his death from cholera, days after the Kraton was captured.
Significance
Ala-ad-Din Mahmoedsjah appears in Jongejan’s account as one of the figures shaping the history of Aceh during the period covered by the book.
