Native courts whose case files provide material for atjeh-moord research. Resident must have sufficient forces to ‘bijhouden’ (keep up) the moesapat work - in practice officials are so overburdened that moesapat work is treated as a necessary side job.
Significance
Moesapats (inlandsche rechtbanken) is recorded by Jongejan as part of the institutional landscape of Aceh.
