Workshop of the Atjeh-tram at Sigli. ~200 coolies (more than half Atjehers, who perform well). Headed by a werktuigkundig ingenieur with ~6 opzichters (supervisors) including some indische jongens. Maintains all rolling material in the gewest. Partly electric. Since 1935 trains ambachtsleergang graduates.
Significance
Atjeh-tram werkplaats (Sigli workshop) is recorded by Jongejan as part of the institutional landscape of Aceh.
