Sindoro was a Dutch steamship (Hr.Ms.) that formed part of the Royal Netherlands Navy flotilla operating on the Tamiang river during the February 1893 expedition. It worked in concert with Flores (ship) and Soembawa (ship) under W. Allirol.
Function
The ship’s armed boats helped clear rotan, rope and bamboo blockades that impeded the Dutch advance.
