Koning der Nederlanden was a Dutch steamship (Hr.Ms.) that participated in the Tamiang river operations of 1893, carrying marine troops and supporting riverine assaults. C. Faassen commanded the vessel during a joint operation with Koerier (ship) in December 1893.
Operational Use
The ship’s crew included 20 marines from the Koning der Nederlanden under the command of a lieutenant of the infantry.
