keudjroeën (English: “Keudjroeën (title granted by Sultan of Atjeh)”) is a term or concept described in Jongejan’s Land en Volk van Atjeh Vroeger en Nu in relation to Aceh. Title granted by the Sultan of Atjeh to some rëdjö’s in the Gajo lands when the sultanate was still supreme.

Description
Title granted by the Sultan of Atjeh to some rëdjö’s in the Gajo lands when the sultanate was still supreme. Conferred greater prestige on the family but did not extend their authority beyond their own blah. Also the title of the ruler of the two realms in the Alasvallei after the abdication of Radja Keumala.
Significance
The term keudjroeën is recorded by Jongejan as part of the cultural, administrative, or institutional vocabulary of Aceh.
