A. al-hakk was an Acehnese‑Malay rendering of the Arabic phrase al‑ḥaqq (الحق) “the truth”, glossed in the Burda glossary as “nubureatnja, de waarheid van zijn profeetschap” (the truth of his prophethood). The entry appears on page 92 of the Malay translation of the Burda and illustrates how Acehnese scholars expressed doctrinal affirmations of the Prophet’s authenticity.
